Slides With Friends, sold under the SlidesWith brand, is an interactive slide-deck builder for team events, trivia, icebreakers and training. It is a small, founder-run US startup that Cecilia Razak, its CEO, co-founded as a pandemic side project in 2020. Hosts build a deck or import PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides, then present it in a room or over Zoom, Teams or Google Meet; players scan a QR code or open the event link, pick an avatar and answer on their phones. It's known for its template library for remote team building and holiday parties, and for 30-day passes that don't renew unless you turn on auto-renew.

Best for: Remote and hybrid teams, HR and trainers who run icebreakers and mixed-activity sessions — polls, photos, word clouds and trivia — over Zoom or in a room.

Quizzo is $9/month for up to 500 players, billed monthly, which beats every pass and every Pro plan; only yearly Starter ($96 a year, versus $108 for a year of Quizzo) costs less, and only if your groups stay at 50 or fewer.

Stay with Slides With Friends if your sessions mix trivia with polls, word clouds, photo sharing and imported slides, or if you need up to 1,000 players on a non-renewing pass. Switch to Quizzo if the quiz is the main event and you want speed scoring, a leaderboard after every question and a podium for up to 500 players on one $9 monthly plan.
